Thirty years of running electrical companies there teaches you to do the work right the first time, because the alternative gets found out fast.
In 2026, Jeff Carter brought that experience to Southwest Florida and opened Carter Electric. The environment changed: salt air instead of ice, hurricanes instead of blizzards, 1960s Florida block homes instead of Chicago brick. The standards did not.
We stay a family business on purpose. The person who quotes your job is the person responsible for it. Quotes are written, prices hold, permits get pulled, and the site gets left clean. That is the whole business model, and it is why our first Florida customers started sending their neighbors.
